Meet Megan
Megan has extensive experience working with adults, children, and youth in assessment contexts. Following a career in piano performance, her passion for pedagogy led her to complete an Honours Degree in Psychology at York University, and later pursue her Master of Social Work at the University of Windsor.
In her role as a psychometrist, Megan has a wealth of experience administering cognitive and academic assessment measures, as well as adaptive, behavioural, personality, socio-emotional, and neuropsychological measures. Megan’s assessment philosophy aligns closely with a client-centred, strengths-based, and neuroaffirming approach to care. Using a trauma-informed framework, Megan supports children and youth navigating complex needs and offers flexibility during assessment sessions to ensure clients are met where they are.
Drawing on her musical background, Megan’s previous research has explored the intersection of creativity and mental illness, as well as music cognition. She hopes her interdisciplinary approach will continue to strengthen her clinical work as a future social worker.
