Eco-Warriors

Location: 96 Vine Ave, Toronto

Eco-anxiety, involves excessive worry and fear, that is specifically rooted in concerns about the environment. Recent weather and environmental events, including recent flooding can be very unsettling.

My father devoted his career to environmental causes and was a pioneer in creating legislation and policies to protect our environment. He is no longer able to pursue these initiatives due to health concerns. Sharing his passion for the environment, and hoping to continue his legacy, I am starting a group to bring together my father's passion for the environment and my passion for Mental Health and Well-Being.

Attuned Families developed organically when I followed the needs that kept showing up. This group, (working name Eco-Warriors) is also developing organically and I would love to hear what you want it to look like. Here are the elements that I know will be part of this group:

  • Environmental Activism

  • Moving through our feelings together

  • Mutual Support

  • Skills and support for Mental Health and Well-Being

If you or your child is interested in participating in this group, or if you have suggestions for what the group should look like, please contact us.
