Meet Emily
Emily is a Child and Youth Worker with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Queen’s University. She brings a strong foundation in both clinical practice and research, with experience across private mental health clinics, forensic settings, and community-based youth support services. Emily has worked with children, youth, and adults, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, behavioural challenges, and complex life circumstances.
Emily approaches her work through a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and client-centred lens. She has developed strong skills in building rapport and conducting in-depth intakes, allowing her to understand each individual’s unique experiences and needs. Her training and previous professional experience informs her work in supporting emotional regulation and behavioural change. She is passionate about helping children, youth, and families translate these skills into their everyday lives.
Emily values collaboration and believes meaningful change happens within strong, trusting relationships in safe and non-judgmental spaces. Emily is passionate about supporting children and families in building confidence, resilience, and strives to meet individuals where they are at, empowering them with practical skills and fostering meaningful, lasting growth.
