Elise has experience working with children, youth, and families across schools (including children with disabilities), residential care, psychiatric services, and in supporting victims of
human trafficking and online child exploitation. She brings empathy and compassion to her work with individuals facing trauma, developmental and mental health challenges and emotional regulation difficulties. Elise uses trauma-informed, strengths-based, and family-centred approaches. She provides unconditional acceptance of children and families, while intervening appropriately to ensure safety and prevent harm, always demonstrating patience and understanding.
