Meet Kaiya

Kaiya Jordan (she/her) is a Child and Youth Care Practitioner with experience supporting children, youth, and families through trauma-informed, relational, and culturally responsive approaches. Her work is grounded in emotional attunement, safety, and collaboration. She has supported young people facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, emotional dysregulation, school-related stress, and difficulties in their relationships with peers, caregivers, and others. Kaiya is especially passionate about helping youth feel understood, build confidence in themselves, and develop tools to move through life with greater ease.

She has worked in diverse community and clinical settings, including urban youth mental health programs, virtual therapy spaces, and remote Indigenous communities responding to mental health emergencies. Drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), anti-oppressive practice, and decolonial frameworks, Kaiya strives to meet youth where they’re at and support them in ways that honour their identities, strengths, and lived experiences. She believes change begins in relationships built on trust, curiosity, and consistency.
