Meet Tin Wing (Lydia)

Lydia is a Registered Social Worker with over 6 years of experience working with toddlers, children, youth, parents, and families in community mental health and school settings. Lydia’s caring, gentle and respectful nature fosters a sense of acceptance and safety in her clients.

Being a therapist who is passionate about providing child-centered play therapy, Lydia is gifted with the ability to connect with children and parents through play.  Lydia also integrates creative arts, Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy and Trauma-Focused Therapy into her sessions.

Lydia connects naturally with children and families, and she is a constant source of stability and empathy for them.  She offers unconditional acceptance to families, helping them to see their own strengths and build on them, while providing support and gently shifting unhelpful patterns through her creative and dynamic approach to families. As a person who is hard of hearing, Tin Wing is happy to support others who are deaf and hard of hearing.
